  • Your password (stored in hashed form — we never store your password in plain text)

Purchase Information

When you purchase training sessions or a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. B Squared Ltd does not store your payment card details. Stripe processes and stores your payment information securely under their own PCI DSS certification. We receive only a confirmation of payment and your billing details (name and email).

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring website
  • Date and time of access

Cookies

The Service uses cookies for:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for login and account management (WordPress session cookies)

Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained for the duration of your account. If you request deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days.
  • Purchase records: Retained for 6 years after purchase (HMRC requirements for financial records).
  • Usage data: Retained for 26 months (analytics).
  • Payment card data: Not stored by B Squared Ltd. Stripe retains data per their own retention policy.

Your Data Protection Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)

Account Deletion

To request deletion of your SENDcast account and associated data, contact us at dpo@bsquared.co.uk. Your account and personal data will be removed within 30 days. Purchase records may be retained for up to 6 years for tax compliance.

Security

B Squared Ltd takes the security of your personal information seriously. The Service is hosted on WordPress.com’s managed infrastructure, which provides:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Regular security updates and monitoring
  • Managed infrastructure security by Automattic

Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never stored or transmitted in plain text.

While we implement appropriate security measures, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Children’s Data

The SENDcast is intended for use by education professionals (adults). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at dpo@bsquared.co.uk and we will delete it promptly.
