Cathy Wassell is the founder of the Autistic Girls Network charity and The Haven, an online school dedicated to supporting neurodivergent girls and non-binary young people. As a neurodivergent mother of neurodivergent young adults, Cathy brings a deeply personal perspective to her advocacy work and educational initiatives.

With a wealth of experience navigating the challenges faced by parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), Cathy is well-versed in the typical battles that many families encounter. She is also the author of Nurturing Your Autistic Young Person, a resource designed to empower parents and caregivers in supporting the growth and development of autistic individuals.

Through her work, Cathy is committed to creating inclusive spaces and resources that foster understanding, acceptance, and support for neurodivergent individuals and their families. Her dedication to advocacy and education continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of many.
