Amy Baxter / Senior Education Adviser, SEND (Primary) – Greenwood Academies Trust
Amy Baxter advises, supports and trains staff on SEND across 37 academies in the Greenwood Academies Trust. Her role focuses on leading SENDCo networks to drive inclusive education in the 26 primary academies within the Trust. Coaching and developing inclusive practice across settings is of particular interest for Amy. Specialising in SEND, she has designed and delivered high impact, bespoke training for several academies.
Amy has experience teaching in a vast array of educational settings, including special and mainstream schools and across the 3-19 age range. She also has substantial leadership experience in both special and mainstream schools, including the role of SENDCo.
Having studied Disability Studies at undergraduate level, Amy also has a PGCE with QTS, an MA in SEN & Inclusion, and holds the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL).
