Kate Browning
School Improvement for SEND Consultant
Kate Browning has over 30 years of experience as a teacher, SENCO and Local Authority School Improvement Officer for SEND. She was also interim Education Development Officer for nasen, where she supported the delivery of nationwide training on the SEND Code of Practice with the Department for Education. She now provides training, SEND review and consultancy support for Teaching School Alliances, MATs, local authorities and individual schools to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND across the primary and secondary phase. Kate is an Associate Lecturer on SEND for the University of Northampton and teaches for the NPQ SENCO. She also delivers keynote speeches and seminars at events across the country.
Ali Neal
Specialist Occupational Therapist
A specialist OT with advanced training in sensory processing, Ali Neal runs School Sensory Solutions which provides regular and cost effective training for all educators supporting SEN and neurodivergent pupils in schools via an online learning platform. She prides herself in finding solutions to everyday problems experienced by children and young people at school that actually work and supporting teachers to incorporate these in their already busy days. Hannah Moloney is a qualified, practising SENCO, specialist assessor, MAT lead for SEND, researcher, author and consultant. Instigator of the National SENCO Workload Surveys, and author of the book No Child is Missed, No Child Misses Out, Hannah is passionate about improving SEND provision in schools nationally, through the empowerment of SENCOs to make a meaningful difference to the pupils and colleagues in their setting.
