SENDcast Spotlight – Welcome Charlotte MacDougall!

Charlotte MacDougall is a neurodivergence specialist, education consultant, former school leader and founder of Nurture & Thrive. Combining professional expertise with lived experience as a neurodivergent parent, she works with parents and schools to better understand and support neurodivergent children. Charlotte is also the author of Reclaiming the Narrative and Thriving with SEND and has written for the TES.

Charlotte works with parents through her membership community, The NDC Collective, and parent training programmes, helping families reduce overwhelm and build confidence in supporting their neurodivergent children. She also provides neurodivergent-informed training and consultancy to schools, and continues to work directly with a small number of children and young people through coaching and specialist dyslexia assessments.

The second edition of her book, Reclaiming the Narrative and Thriving with SEND: Rethinking Success for Young Neurodivergent Minds, was published earlier this year.
