About this SEND expert
Natalie Packer
SEND Consultant
Natalie is a national SEND Consultant, developing and delivering a wide range of training and support, including SEND reviews, to schools and multi-academy trusts. She works closely with several MATs to support their strategic development of SEND and is a trustee of Learn-AT in Leicestershire. She is an associate for national organisations nasen, Whole Education, Forum Strategy and Leadership Matters.
Natalie has previously worked for the National Strategies SEN Team alongside the DfE SEN Policy Team and for several local authorities across the East Midlands as an Adviser for SEN and School Improvement. She has had primary headship experience and has previously been a SENCO. She regularly contributes to online SEN articles and webinars, and is the author of The Perfect SENCO and The Teacher’s Guide to SEN, co-author of Beyond Boundaries: Leading Great SEND Provision across a Trust and series editor for the All About SEND publications.
