Making your classroom more inclusive
Inclusion means more than just SEND support. It needs to be woven into the daily fabric of your classroom practice. This session explores what inclusion really looks like at classroom level and how teachers can make it practical and doable through small tweaks and adaptations across the 5 phases of the lesson.
Drawing on 40 years of classroom and leadership experience, Sara unpacks what an inclusive classroom really means for teachers. She shares the practical strategies that make it achievable for every child, every day.
The SEND reforms are still developing – but schools don’t need to wait to make meaningful progress.
This session is part of our series focusing on what schools can and should be doing right now.
